Based on years of experience in and around schools,
members of the LearnSafe® team can provide school districts
with special technical assistance in a variety of areas. These areas
include, but are not limited to, the following:
- A review of School Board Policies that pertain
to school-based violence and disruptive behaviors
- A design of school security programs that involve
the selection and training of security personnel
- An evaluation of current school security, police,
or School Resource Officer (SRO) programs
LearnSafe® works with the pioneers in the field of security assessments
and policy and procedure reviews. Our experts have conducted numerous
assessments from large urban school districts with several hundred
schools to rural areas with only a handful of schools. The purpose
of an assessment is to provide school administrators with a better
understanding of their preparedness to deal with a serious security
incident. The assessment also proves an insight as to how safe students
and staff feel in their school.
